Huntington Farm
Huntington Farm is central to Strafford, lying halfway between our two villages, near the geographical center of Strafford. In the ‘60s &‘70s, during the Read and Essie Perkins era, it was our local economic engine and an equestrian center of national renown. This essay first appeared in the 2022 Strafford Town Report.
The Hand That Did Not Let Go At Town Meeting
In the Strafford Town House, there is a sounding board with a carved hand clasping a ring connected to a decorative rod attached to the ceiling. If you look up at the ceiling the next time you are in the Strafford Town House, BEWARE!
Justin Morrill’s Strafford
